In today's media landscape, the government bows to popular opinion. Although everybody is entitled to an opinion, we ought not be confused with facts. I'm afraid this is simply the way it is now. Today, facts are opinions but opinions are disputable, so nothing is as it seems. And that is the news.
What sort of impact would there be if cable news placed a moratorium on opinion segments did shorter news cycle with objectively reported facts on events that took place that day?
Without all the PR spin and BS the government has to deal with...
In one week, could they solve the debt-lock?
In one month, could they solve war issues?
In one year, could they solve the economic situation?
In one term, could they solve the energy crisis?
In this blogger's humble opinion, all of the above.
Then again I have no facts to back that up, not that I'm claiming to be the news.
